Glass: Highball

Method: Build in glass over ice

Ingredients:

1 1/4 oz. Seagram’s 7 Crown ((or any American Blended Whisky if Seagram’s 7 is unavailable)) Canadian Blended Whisky
Fill glass with 7-Up or lemon-lime soda (such as Sprite)

Garnish: None

A great drink from the 1950’s

 

PS: If you want to stump your boss, customer, or coworkers, casually ask “What’s in an “Old seven and seven?”

 

Almost guaranteed they’ll answer “Seagram’s Seven and 7-UP!” but nope!

 

“Old No. 7” isn’t Seagrams. Old No. 7 is Jack Daniels. Go look at the bottle. 🙂
